The Casa de Cobre Story

On April 4th 2009 the team at The Basin Restaurant opened Casa de Cobre. The name means “House of Copper” and was chosen to honor our good friends and family from the pueblo of  “Santa Clara del Cobre”, Michoacán, Mexico.

The many beautiful copper pieces on display throughout the restaurant were hand made for us by the hands of the great Miguel Hernandez Perez!  He is a true artisan maestro, preserving an important piece of art and history in our ever changing world… (Read More)
